  • Suits the Byre Gallery’s aesthetic look
  • Will fit with the coastal/ ocean exhibition theme for Hidden Depths

About the Byre Gallery

The Byre Gallery is in south east Cornwall on the beautiful, and often over-looked Rame Peninsula, which is known for the twin fishing villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, the beautiful sweep of golden sand at Whitsand Bay, and the iconic Rame Head.

Situated at the entrance to the village of Millbrook, the Byre Gallery is an elegant and welcoming space showcasing stunning works of design-led craft and contemporary art by leading and emerging makers and artists from throughout the UK.

Founded in 2014 by Gallery Director Elaine Dye, the Byre Gallery is known for its elegant aesthetic and stylishly curated exhibitions where each piece is thoughtfully selected to add to the overall cohesive feel of the gallery space.  Visual art is hung in a considered way to best complement pieces of contemporary craft, and dark wooden furniture adds warmth, and a suggestion of an inviting domestic setting.

What you might want to know...

We will be in touch with everyone who has submitted work by Saturday 29th June - or sooner!

How do I apply?

If you click here you can complete a short and easy submissions form and attach images of your work

Do the images have to be of work that I'd want to include in the exhibition?

Ideally yes, but if you've got images that represent your work and are confident you can have a new collection ready in time then that's fine

Which Byre Gallery artists and makers are already taking part in 'Hidden Depths'?

The exhibition features paintings by Tara Leaver, Nicola Mosley and Aimee Willcock; ceramics by Michele Bianco and jewellery by Claire Stockings-Baker. There will also be work from many of our other regular makers and artists in the gallery - you can see all our regulars on our website.
